Chiara Albani
Classe Finestre Teacher
Chiara Albani was born in La Spezia, Liguria, in particular in Lerici, in the Gulf of Poets, near the “Cinque Terre”, an UNESCO heritage site. She moved to the USA with her husband and son in 2019, first to Memphis and then in May 2024 to Chicago.
Chiara graduated from the Istituto Magistrale “2 Giugno” as preschool and elementary teacher. Immediately after, thanks to the beautiful horizon that appeared to her every morning, she embarked on cruise ships and for 5 years, she sailed in different parts of the world. Bilingual in French on her mother’s side, she learned Spanish and German during her travels.
Life led Chiara to an office job dealing with quality management systems at various companies and as a freelancer in Turin, Grenoble and Trento. It was in America that she rediscovered her passion for education that she had always pursued with private lessons and groups, teaching in a preschool context for 3 years.
Chiara loves nature, the environment, animals and has always cultivated an interest in art and painting. Enthusiastic about the city of Chicago and the international opportunities here, she is, “…honored to be part of the wonderful Scuola Fermi team!”
